What looked like being a disappointing day, with Ascot having to be abandoned, turned out to be rather special with 3 winners from 3 bets.  First we had the Alan Bailey trained Grannie Anne winning at 5/1 followed by Mark Johnston's Swift Alhaarth backed from 9/1 in the morning to 11/2 and finally John Berry's Rhythm Stick backed from 2/1 down to 5/4.  Told Mark Winstanley aka "the Couch" the 3 of these and to his credit he gave me a great mention on At the Races.  Fame at last!
