Another day which seemed to offer very little promise with only Southwell and Navan escaping the clutches of the weather, and yet, finished up being a very good one with a very decent bet on the short head winner Nightjar backed from 3/1 into 2/1. It was also great to see Everymanforhimself get his head in front after two very near misses. I must confess that I didn't back him this time but as he is owned by a very good friend of mine , who happens to be in hospital at the moment, John Duddy, I was highly delighted for him and his lovely wife.
